Zakatonline is a facility set up within the spirit of the Qu'ran:
"Who is he that will Loan to Allah a beautiful loan?
for (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal Reward." (Qur'an 57:11)
This site enables charities and projects to register with Zakatonline in order that they may then be beneficiaries of Zakat. In addition, Muslim projects can also be beneficiaries of the Zakat al-Fitrah made after sunset on the eve of Eid al-Fitr.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to provide a fundraising tool, enabling organisations to register with us and therefore receive donations quickly, simply and securely online. We do not charge a membership or subscription fee therefore there is no initial outlay to the organisation.
How we help with Gift Aid
If you are a registered charity, we administer Gift Aid on your behalf. This means you have no paperwork to complete and every gift to you which comes from a UK taxpayer through the Gift Aid scheme is worth 28% more to your charity, at no extra cost to the donor.
